STARK ACCESS / CONTROL & IDENTITY

The right access.
At the right place.

Plan permissions around your people, your doors and the way your site operates.

Access Control & Attendance Systems

STARK brings readers, controllers, locks and management software into a defined access workflow. The first step is understanding who should enter which areas, during what hours, and what happens when power, connectivity or a credential fails. Attendance reporting and physical access should be considered together without assuming that every platform integrates automatically.

THE DESIGN CONVERSATION

What we plan with you.

01

Door-by-door assessment

Review the door construction, locking hardware, cable routes and operating requirements before selecting devices.

02

Roles and schedules

Plan staff groups, visitor permissions, restricted zones and access times that your administrators can maintain.

03

Credential choices

Evaluate cards, PINs, mobile or biometric methods against usability, privacy and the supported equipment.

04

Attendance workflow

Define reports, shift requirements and supported integrations before treating attendance data as a payroll input.

05

Failure and exit behaviour

Coordinate power-loss behaviour and emergency egress with the responsible building and safety specialists.

06

Administrator handover

Document enrolment, permission changes, credential removal, audit review and support responsibilities.

BEFORE THE ASSESSMENT

A useful brief starts here.

Share the information available to your team. Do not send passwords, private footage or access codes in the enquiry form.

  • Number and type of doors, gates and controlled areas
  • Staff, visitor and contractor access requirements
  • Existing HR or access software and licensing details
  • Building exit arrangements and backup-power requirements

Questions worth asking.

Can attendance connect with our existing HR system?

We need the HR platform, required reports and supported interface details. Integration scope and any licensing must be confirmed; it is not implied for every product combination.

What happens during a power failure?

Backup power and lock behaviour are design decisions for each door. Emergency exit requirements must be reviewed with the building team and relevant specialists.

Do we need biometric access?

Not necessarily. Cards or another method may meet the requirement with less identity-data handling. Choose the least complex suitable method for the site.

Can we restrict access by department or time?

Supported platforms can offer groups and schedules. The actual rule set, exceptions and administrator permissions should be tested before handover.

THE NEXT STEP / YOUR SITE

Let's plan the right system.

Tell us about the site and the problem you need to solve. We will review the request before proposing a scope.
